A team led by the Director, Resettlement Colonel Joseph Kobla Buame has sensitised Personnel of the Air Force Base, Accra on the progress of the Provident Fund and retirement planning on Tuesday 25 February 2025, at the Ghana Air Force Aviation College Auditorium.

Colonel Boame highlighted the purpose of the provident fund which is to provide financial assistance to retiring members of the Ghana Armed Forces while he gave recent updates and improvements made on the provident fund over the years. He stressed on the importance of saving for retirement, as it can be a challenging transition without adequate financial support.

He encouraged personnel to be proactive and be committed to saving and regularly review their progress as it would make a significant difference in their end of service benefits to ensure they meet their retirement goals.

Colonel Boame also addressed concerns and queries from the personnel and assured them that the fund is a safe and secure investment, managed with  utmost diligence and transparency.

A representative from the Services Integrity Savings and Loans (SISL) Mr Joseph Adjei also educated the personnel on the products and services being offered by the bank.
