The U.S. Naval Attaché to Ghana, Commander Matthew B. Kohlmann, paid an official visit to the Chief Staff Officer (CSO) of the Ghana Air Force, Air Commodore Eric Yirenkyi, on Wednesday 19 February 2025, at the Air Force Headquarters.

Welcoming Cdr. Kohlmann on behalf of the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Frederick Asare Kwasi Bekoe, Air Cdre Yirenkyi reaffirmed the strong military ties between the two nations. Discussions focused on training, joint exercises, courses and operations, with an emphasis on intelligence sharing and continued cooperation in enhancing security.
