A joint shooting competition has been organised for personnel of the Air Force Headquarters (AFHQ) and Air Force Base, Accra from Monday 26 August 2024 to Wednesday 28 August 2024 at the Teshie Gallery Range, Teshie.

The exercise was aimed at enhancing the skills of personnel in weapon handling, improving on their firing skills, enhancing their precision and reaffirmed their commitment to being ever-ready for the challenges ahead.

The firing competition had personnel going through activities such as quick reaction firing, firing at various positions, fallen plates as well as firing and movement (non-scoring).

The exercise was climaxed with the fallen plate competition between the Administration Wing, Supply Wing, Special Task Unit (STU) and the Air Force Headquarters (AFHQ), with AFHQ winning the competition.
