AFHQ BIDS FAREWELL TO NATIONAL SERVICE PERSONNEL

The 2022/2023 National Service Personnel who served at the Air Force Headquarters (AFHQ) were on Friday 29 September 2023 given a resounding send off party at the Air Force Officers’ Mess to mark the successful completion of their one-year service.

 

 

The event was filled with heartfelt conversations and interactions with Officers, Airmen and Defence Civilian Staff. Amidst the joyful moments, the National Service Personnel used the opportunity to thank Command and all Air Force personnel for their guidance, nurturing and advice during their service.

 

 

According to the National Service Personnel, the knowledge gained throughout their period of service had helped them to develop a sense of discipline which would come in handy as they venture into the job market to contribute their quota towards national development.

 

 

The Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), AVM Bekoe was present briefly to interact with the Service Personnel and wished them well.

 

 

In a speech read on behalf of the CAS, the Chief Staff Officer, Air Force Headquarters, Air Commodore Eric Yirenkyi lauded their dedication and hard work.  He urged them to leverage on the skills acquired to excel in their future endeavors.

 

 

Air Commodore Yirenkyi further advised the service personnel to continuously update their skills to remain relevant in the ever-evolving job market.
