
AIR FORCE BASE TAMALE HOLDS CLOSING CEREMONY FOR FRENCH COURSE 1/25
The Six Garrison French Language Centre has held a closing ceremony for French Course 1/25 on Wednesday,19 March 2025, at the Air Force Base Tamale. The French Course commenced in mid-December 2024 welcoming the participation of 2 Officers and 24 Soldiers as students, with the aim of equipping learners with linguistic tools necessary to communicate effectively and expand their professional opportunities.
Representing the Base Commander, Air Force Base Tamale, Air Commodore Joshua Lartei Mensah-Larkai, was the Officer Commanding Morale and Recreations Flight (OCMRF), Flight Lieutenant Delali Kofi Johnson-Agboli, as the Guest of Honor and Lieutenant Joshua Pio Nde Nsiedi of 6 Garrison Education Centre.
Flight Lieutenant Johnson-Agboli in his speech congratulated participants on behalf of the Base Commander, lauding their diligence and commitment throughout the course. He underscored the importance of mastering a foreign language, emphasizing that such proficiency transcends being a mere skill but rather a strategic necessity. He also admonished the instructors for their dedication and expertise in guiding the students to success. Lieutenant Nsiedi of the 6 Garrison Education Centre reassured participants that any concerns or challenges encountered during the course would be addressed appropriately via established channels.
To commemorate the culmination of the course, the participants of French Course 1/25 presented a beautifully crafted signpost bearing the name of the centre elegantly inscribed in French. This thoughtful gesture was warmly received by the assembled officers and instructors, serving as a lasting testament to the students' appreciation and a proud emblem of their contribution to the centre's enduring mission.
