
GHAFAC HOLDS CLOSING CEREMONY FOR ENGINEERING TECHNICAL ADMINISTRATION COURSE 1/25
The Ghana Air Force Aviation College (GHAFAC) has successfully held the closing ceremony for the Engineering Technical Administration Course 1/25 on Friday 21 March 2025. The six weeks course, aimed at enhancing the technical expertise of Air Force personnel, saw the participation of 23 engineering personnel drawn from various Air Force Bases.
Throughout the training period, participants were equipped with in-depth knowledge of essential engineering principles, including Technical Orders, Instructions, Safety and Quality Procedures approved for use in the Ghana Air Force.
As part of the course, key topics covered included; Organization of the Engineering Wing, Aircraft Servicing Policy, Engineering Procedures, Supply and Demand, Accident Investigation and Quality Assurance. Participants were also introduced to Microsoft Excel to improve their record-keeping and data analysis skills.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Guest of Honour, who serves as the Deputy Director for Logistics Support (Self-Sustainment) International Peacekeeping and Support Operations at the General Headquarters, Wing Commander Karim Abdul Razak commended the participants for their dedication and enthusiasm they exhibited during the course.
Wing Commander Karim Abdul Razak emphasised that the Course remains a vital training initiative aimed at strengthening the technical capabilities of the Ghana Air Force to enhance its operational effectiveness.
He highlighted the critical role of record-keeping in ensuring operational readiness and urged participants to continually apply the knowledge acquired in their respective fields.
He further encouraged them to pursue continuous learning and improvement in the discharge of their assigned roles. He stressed that the efficiency of the Air Force depends on the professionalism and technical expertise of its personnel.
