A delegation from the Japanese Self Defense Force (JSDF) has paid a working visit to Air Force Base Accra (AFB ACC) as part of efforts to strengthen professional cooperation and information sharing in the area of airlift operations.
The engagement took place on Thursday, 4 December 2025, and brought together personnel of the Ghana Air Force (GHAF) and the Japanese Air Self-Defense Force for an interactive knowledge-sharing session focused on air mobility capabilities, operational concepts, and aircraft performance.

The visit concluded with an exchange of memorabilia, symbolising the cordial relationship and growing professional ties between the Ghana Air Force and the Japanese Self Defense Force. Both sides expressed optimism about future engagements aimed at enhancing mutual understanding, interoperability, and capacity development in airlift operations.
