NATIONAL COLLEGE OF DEFENCE STUDIES COURSE 2 HOLDS GRADUATION RELIGIOUS SERVICE.
The National College of Defence Studies Course 2 has held its graduation religious service on Sunday, 7 December 2025, at the Church of Pentecost in Burma Camp, as part of activities leading to the successful completion of the course.

The graduation forms part of the college's tradition of blending academic excellence with spiritual and moral fortification as officers advance to higher command and strategic roles.

Delivering his sermon on the theme “ Called and Trained to make a Difference in your Chosen Area”, the Director General Religious Affairs of the Ghana Armed Forces, Brigadier General Kumi-Wood, emphasised that a divine call is meant to guide individuals towards a purposeful life, leading them to contribute meaningfully within their selected fields, fostering a sense of fulfilment and impact. Noting that while a uniform may give you authority, it is character that earns true influence. He encourages the incoming graduands to demonstrate competence, ethical leadership, and act as agents of transformation while upholding enduring values.

In his address, the Guest of Honour and Chancellor of the Cape Coast Technical University, Dr Ato Conduah Orlenas-Lindasy, expressed profound appreciation for the opportunity to address the participants at the ceremony. Reflecting on the theme of the event, he emphasised its continued relevance in shaping responsible leadership within the Armed Forces and the nation at large. He noted that life holds meaning beyond personal ambition, urging the graduates to strive towards inspiring others and leaving behind a legacy of positive change for future generations.

The Guest of Honour encouraged graduands to uphold humility, remain focused on their calling, and never lose sight of their duty to honour and glorify God through their service. He congratulated graduands for their commitment and perseverance throughout the course and expressed appreciation to the high command for its continuous support, leadership, and guidance in sustaining professional excellence

The solemn service brought together the Chief of the Defence Staff, Lieutenant General William Agyepong, Chief of Air Staff , Air Vice Marshal Eric Agyen-Frempong, Chief of Staff , Air Vice Marshal Joshua Lartai Mensah-Larkai, distinguished generals, senior officers, families, and guests.
