Seven newly promoted Generals from the Ghana Armed Forces Medical Services led by the Deputy Chief of Staff in charge of Medical Services (DCOS Med), Maj Gen RK Ewusi have paid a courtesy call on the Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Vice Marshal Frederick Asare Kwasi Bekoe at the Air Force Headquarters on Wednesday 21 February 2024.

The purpose of the visit was for them to express their gratitude to the CAS for the efforts and inputs made by him which enabled them to achieve the unprecedented feat.

The CAS congratulated the Senior Officers and acknowledged their professionalism, hard work and dedication to duty. He advised them to continue to work even harder and lift high the flag of Ghana.

The newly promoted Generals include, DCOS (Med), Maj Gen RK Ewusi, Director General Medical and Dental, Brig Gen GAO Appiah, Commander Kumasi Military Hospital, Brig Gen RL Mensah and the Head of Surgery Department, Ghana Armed Forces Critical Care and Emergency Hospital (GAFCCEH), Brig Gen TA Gbireh. The others are, Head of Obstetrics and Gynecology Department, 37 Military Hospital, Brig Gen R Naab, Head of Surgery Department, 37 Military Hospital, Commodore SA Adjei and the Head of Quality Assurance Department, 37 Military Hospital, Commodore PK Yegbe.

They were accompanied by Brig Gen PK Ayibor and Brig Gen EV Abraham-Kwabiah, Commanders of the 37 Military Hospital and GAFCCEH respectively.
