CLOSING CEREMONY HELD FOR AEROMEDICAL EVACUATION TRAINING COURSE 1/25
The Ghana Air Force Aviation College (GHFAC) has held a closing ceremony for Aeromedical Evacuation training on Friday 31 January 2025 at Air Force Base, Accra.
The five (5) days programme held from Monday 27 to Friday 31 January 2025 covered a wide range of topics and practical sessions designed to equip participants with the necessary skills to excel in the field of aeromedical service. The programme consisted of 30 participants, which included 20 trainees and 10 instructors.
In a welcome address, a Senior Instructor from the 37 Military Hospital, Wing Commander Benjamin Toboh, stated that, the course delved into critical care air transport, the stresses of flight, communication, crew resource management, medical logistics and maintenance for safety among many others.
The Guest of Honour, Director Training, Ghana Armed Forces, Medical Service (GAFMS), Colonel George Boamah expressed satisfaction with the study progress of the training programme and also commended the instructors for their dedication. He further encouraged the participants to apply the knowledge and skills gained during the training.
The participants also expressed their gratitude to GHFAC for the training opportunity. Certificates were a warded to all participants.
